Legros Cultural Arts, Inc is a not for profit organization with a mission to inspire and inform people of all ages and ethnicities about the advantages of cultural diversity in the context of mutual understanding and cooperation. Through producing community events that involves dance, drama, music and or visual arts, spectators are motivated to confront and overcome the prejudice, misunderstanding and or fear that may stem from lack of familiarity with the many highly visible cultures in New York City.
The company was developed to promote culture diversity through uniting dancers of different ethnicities as well as performing dances from around the world. Our dancers share their own cultures with other dance members and also work collaboratively to develop new works influenced by traditional dances from around the world. The Danzare repertoire also includes the artistic contribution of guest choreographers.
